Fact about Fever:

Fever induces Natural Killer(NK) Cells which help fight pathogens in our body. It is a part of our Innate Immunity. In young children or babies, this Innate Immunity is very active. In grown adults, we need a boost like this to help induce a proper innate immune response which is the fever for the body to fight illnesses. Please keep the head cool and have someone there to help you.

Another helpful fact, people who are chronically sleep deprived have a low NK cell count. Utilizing these methods will therefore be even more important.
